TERMS & CONDITIONS
By purchasing, accepting delivery of, or using any product from Alpine Skids LLC (“Alpine”), Buyer acknowledges and agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
Ownership & Payment. All products remain the property of Alpine until payment is received in full, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Safe Operation. Buyer is responsible for the safe and proper installation, mounting, operation, transportation, maintenance, and storage of all products. Buyer must read and follow all applicable manuals, instructions, warnings, rated capacities, and manufacturer guidelines before use. Buyer is responsible for ensuring that all operators are properly trained and qualified.
Product Selection & Use. Buyer is responsible for determining that the product is suitable for the intended application, vehicle, equipment, environment, and operating conditions. Alpine is not responsible for damage, failure, loss, or injury resulting from improper installation, mounting, maintenance, storage, modification, misuse, overloading, operation beyond rated capacity, or use outside the product's intended design.
Limitation of Liability. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALPINE SKIDS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF USE, LOST PROFITS, LOST TIME, OR DAMAGE TO OTHER PROPERTY, ARISING FROM THE PURCHASE, INSTALLATION, OPERATION, FAILURE, OR USE OF ANY PRODUCT. ALPINE'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
RETURNS & LIMITED WARRANTY
Returns. Unused standard products may be returned only with prior authorization from Alpine. Approved returns must be in original condition and packaging and are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Buyer is responsible for return shipping. Custom, modified, special-order, or used products are non-returnable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Inspection. Buyer must inspect products promptly upon delivery and notify Alpine of any shipping damage, shortages, or nonconformity within 30 days of shipment.
Limited Warranty. Alpine products are warranted to the original purchaser against defects in Alpine's materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the invoice date. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, consumable items, corrosion, improper installation or mounting, improper maintenance or storage, neglect, misuse, modification, accident, or operation outside rated specifications.
Components manufactured by third parties, including engines, pumps, tanks, reels, hoses, nozzles, batteries, and similar components, may be subject to the original manufacturer's warranty and warranty procedures.
For a valid warranty claim, Alpine will, at its option, repair the defective product or component, replace it, or refund the applicable purchase price. Product must be made available for inspection before any warranty remedy is approved.
No Emergency-Service Guarantee. Alpine products may be used for fire suppression or other emergency applications, but Alpine does not warrant or guarantee that any product will prevent, control, or extinguish a fire, prevent property damage or personal injury, or perform under every emergency condition. Product performance depends on proper installation, maintenance, available water supply, operating conditions, operator actions, and other factors outside Alpine's control.
These Terms & Conditions and Limited Warranty are governed by the laws of the State of California.
